T4 SERIES
The T4 series of UPS is born not only
out of our ability to design and manufacture technically
innovative and advanced UPS systems but with an understanding
of the problems our partners and client’s experience.
The T4 can be categorized as a medium sized Single Phase
Input / Single Phase Output or Three Phase Input / Single
Phase Output Uninterruptible Power Supply. *

WHAT TOPOLOGY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
The T4 is True On-Line Double Conversion.
On-line Technology is the only safe option to be considered
for critical loads, Off-Line and Line Interactive systems
produce a break in supply during the change over between
mains operation mode and Battery mode. Even the shortest
Breaks can and do affect the functionality of computers
and other MCP based equipment.
SPACE IS A PREMIUM
A major Value Added Benefit of the T4
is that it is compact and lightweight. This is attributed
to Transformerless design using the latest Real Digital
Signal Processor (DSP) controlled IGBT technology. There
is a sizeable weight and space benefit when compared
with Transformer based UPS systems.
INTELLIGENT YET SIMPLE
DSP technology substantially improves
reliability and technical performance. The unit will
constantly monitor itself and in the event of a problem
or alarm an appropriate display will be given. With
the assistance of advanced heat management control and
Smart Fan Speed Regulation the T4 reacts to internal
and external temperature changes, the fans increase
and decrease depending on temprature, this reduces audible
noise during normal operation and prolongs the fan life.
Intelligent Temperature Compensated Battery
Charging extends battery life providing a durable and
dependable DC source.
Information, direction and operation
are provided via the user friendly LCD screen and functionality
schematic that feature as standard. The visual insight
provides information on various perimeters of operation,
input/output voltage, current, load, battery charging
characteristics plus an expansive event log.
RS-232, Relay Interface and SNMP and
specialist UPS management software offer a variety of
real time monitoring and management solutions.
SAFETY AND CONFIDENCE
A fail safe no break static by-pass switch
(0/ms) provides protection and reassurance with the
provision of a manual by-pass function as standard.
The T4 is compliant to Safety EN50009-1,
EMC EN50091-2 and Performance EN62040-3, EN50091-3 standards.
The T4 offers LOW Input THD, typically
< 4%, this feature is enhanced by a power factor
correction circuit which maintains a .98pf, the combination
of these two critical features means low running cost
plus no oversizing when used with a generator.

AVR Automatic Voltage Regulation:
Not all off-line or line-Interactive
UPS have an AVR. The benefit of an AVR, which is
essentially a switching transformer, is that the
voltage can be regulated without having to engage
the batteries; this feature dramatically extends
battery life. AVR’s are not normally required with
On-Line UPS.
Long Back Up Times:
Typically UPS have a standard run
time of between five to ten minutes, but the demand
for longer autonomies is growing, especially in
the area of telecoms. For UPS to be able to offer
longer run times the system has to be able to offer
additional battery charging and a continuously rated
power output stage, when you see this logo against
a product you can rest assured that a reliable battery
recharge and extension run time can be provided.
Surge Protection:
Surge protection is vital for today’s
modern commutations equipment; surges can take two
forms, (1) high speed (transient spike) (2) slow
voltage increase, typical in factories or end of
grid situations. Surges are not just an increase
in voltage but also in energy, it is the power stored
in the surge that can cause the most damage, when
you see this logo relax, surge protection is on
hand.
Software:
When you see this Icon you have available
to you a wide variety of power management and shutdown
options.
Digitech:
Yes, you have guessed it, when you
see this icon you have the comfort that your AEC
machine is using digital control, this offers incredible
reaction time to anomalies that the mains may try
and throw at your network
