Many people throughout Derbyshire
and Lancashire in the East Midlands lost power
last week as storms caused disruptions to
electricity supplies. Thousands of
homes and businesses in Derbyshire alone lost
power. As work to re-establish the
supply started, more homes lost power through
a series of lightning strikes.
Prehaps more worrying outages
have hit Athens in Greece, just four
weeks before the Olympic Games is
due to start. Greece's worst disruption of
power supply for years has left many without
power, and stuck in lifts, flats and office
blocks. But Ministry of State spokesman Panos
Lividas said that Olympic venues, as well
as hospitals, "faced no problems as they
have their own Generators".
AEC Is very proud to
have supplied the uninterruptible power supplies
(UPS) for the Olympics, and is confident the
games will take place with out any power outages
or problems.
With the power industries current
problems and predictions, it could well be
time to see your business benefit from a reliabe
source of power.
